I wish I could keep you safe from hurt. But I can't, which makes me feel sad, helpless and your pain as well. Then what is the gain of love? When no one is and ever will be safe? Blood flows through my body to live, but your love flows through my heart to make life worthwhile. With so much loss, you keep loving me effortlessly. You touch me. What I can do, is try to make you feel this joy, freedom and heal you. As I wish to keep you in full surrender of love.
